FXIX,
Sorry you are having trouble restoring. It may be another issue, but restoring an image to a RAID0 array will not work unless you are using hardware RAID controller. You would need something that allows you to see the array from DOS, and most software or Fake/RAID controllers do not work without Windows, and therefore not in DOS. You may be able to restore your image to a single drive, that obviously must be as large or larger than your original volume. However, if you only saved the image to DVD, you might run into other issues, like read errors or disc errors. Good luck!

RAID0 is not break. Image (old backup file) is not break too. XP crush only, on RAID0. I save image for DVD and want restore for RAID0. And DriveImage XML write "write error" again. May be DriveImage XML don't work witch RAID0 array. But backup-process from RAID0 although was successful. But restore not :)
Hard: 2*Samsung HD080HJ
Matherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Black Edition

FXIX,
No, I do not think this method will work for you. This only works with Mirrored drives, not striped, because once the image is restored, the array is rebuilt based on the new load. With RAID0, once you break your array, it's gone. This why RAID0 sucks! IMHO. I know it has it's benefits, but drives are so cheap anymore, just setup RAID5, or RAID1 with larger drives. (This method will not work with RAID5 either though, it's only for RAID1.) AT least with the mirror, you have a copy on each drive.

Also, this totally depends on your RAID controller and how it operates.

I have two hard-disc (2*80Gb) joining into RAID0=C:15Gb,D:30Gb(here DriveImage-my-ISO(XP)) ,E:102Gb. Then restore C: drive from BartPE, DriveImage write "writen Error" and nothing more.
